Belgian Ales & Sour Beers
Belgian Ales are known as some of the best brewed beers in the world, and sour beers have become very popular in the USA. Years ago these beers were exclusively brewed in Belgium, and imported to America for our consumption. Now almost every American craft brewery has at least one Belgian Style Ale in their lineup, and some even specialize in brewing only Belgian Style beers. There are now even a few American craft breweries that specialize in only making quality sour beers. What a wonderful country we live in. Buy Belgian Ales and sour beers online at America's favorite online beer store - BeerOnTheWall.com!
Pucker Up with Sour Beers
Sour beers are fermented with a wild yeast, that creates and acidic, tart character to the beers taste profile. Some sour beers are simply quite sour altogether, with no dominant complementing flavors, while others may be sweet like cherries or have a malty backbone. Because of the difficulty in describing these tart and acidic flavors, it is very hard for any individual to correctly describe what any particular sour beer tastes like to that person. Our advice is to buy a few sour beers online and sample them for yourself. Keep a log of which ones you like and which ones you don’t like. Our sour beer inventory is always changing as new and exciting sour ales become available to us. Look for beers styles like Belgian gueuzes, lambics, flanders red ales, and Berliner Weissbiers (or Berliner Weiss).
