12th Anniversary Ale (22 oz) - Stone's Anniversary Ale this year stems from 2 pilot beers that were previously brewed by them. The first beer was a delicious Oatmeal Stout and the second was an amazing homebrewed Imperial Stout that had an authentic Oaxacan chocolate added to the boil. Seeing that both beers were a hit, Stone Brewing company decided to combine the two to make this year's 12th Anniversary Ale.
APPEARANCE:
Deep brown/black with a thick tan head of foam.
AROMA:
Roasted malt and cocoa.
FLAVOR:
Deep chocolate flavor with a long lasting bitter finish.
PALATE:
Rich and silky mouthfeel that adds to the creamy texture.
OVERALL:
This is a thick beer, but not sweet. It certainly is an awesome brew that is sure to satisfy any beer lover's craving for a good brew.
