Saison Rue is quite simply an amazing Belgian Ale. Enjoyable when freshly brewed, Saison Rue becomes a different beer with age, and equally, if not more enjoyable. This Belgian Ale is a deep golden, rustic ale created in Orange County, CA within the walls of a small craft brewery that calls itself “The Bruery”.
Although this is a year-round beer, The Bruery makes Saison Rue only in small quantities. So if there’s a run on it … you could be out of luck until the next time they brew it. Don’t risk it! We suggest you buy some Saison Rue to enjoy right away with friends, and be sure to buy enough to tuck some away for later too. This Belgian Ale ages great!
The name of this family-owned brewery is confusing at first, too much beer? No longer able to spell? No, such is not the case. The name of this brewery comes from the merging of the word “brewery” and the family’s name, Rue. Clever, we like it! The name is cool but the beer these folks create is … awesome.
All of the fantastic beers created at The Bruery are “bottle conditioned”; the carbonation occurs naturally by secondary bottle fermentation. And this brewery prides itself on creating craft beer with true character; using only simple and pure ingredients and brewing methods.
