Port Brewing Company's Hop 15 Double IPA was first brewed in 2002 as a way to celebrate 15th Birthday of the infamous Solana Beach hangout, The Pizza Port.

Hop 15 Double IPA uses Two Row Pale and Crystal malts to give this tasty brew its sweet malty backdrop onto which copious amounts of hops are used to paint a beautifully balanced, yet big and bitter Double IPA.

So, how much hops Port Brewing use in Hop 15, you may ask? Tons!!!

15 different hop varieties are added to Hop 15 every 15 minutes during the brewing process. Wow! Weighing in at 9.7% ABV, this brew is what we like to call a "BooBoo Knocker." That's because if you are not careful, it will creep up and knock you right on your boo boo.
Over the years, Hop 15 has racked up numerous accolades.
