Hemp Ale is just exactly what it sounds like. Yep it's a beer brewed using real hemp seeds. Awesome!
This Humboldt Brewing Company beer has the character of a medium-bodied brown ale and it's deliciously sweet and on the malty side at the same time. A very easy drinking beer that is nice to drink all by itself, but is also good with meals.
The hemp seeds give this brew a pine tree aroma and finishes off with a slight, raspy hop bitterness.
If you like new beers and you have not tried this, then you should get a bottle or two. It is definitely unlike any other beer you have ever tried.
