Amber Ale is just one of Full Sail Brewing Company’s beers. Hand-crafted in one of the few manual brewhouses of its size in the country, it's a beer you’ve gotta try!
Amber Ale, like any good brew, starts with great water, and in Hood River, pure water literally flows from the peaks that surround the Full Sail Brewery. And great care is taken by the brewers at Full Sail to preserve this valuable resource.
For the other essential ingredients used in their award-winning beers, Full Sail brewers again look to what’s around them: 85% of hops and 95% of barley comes straight from Northwest farms that surround them. This Amber Ale is a sweet, malty, medium-bodied ale with a spicy, floral hop finish. Amber ale is brewed with 2-row Pale, Crystal and Chocolate malts and Mt. Hood and Cascade hops.
Just as good now as it was back in ’89 when it became the first craft brew to be bottled; and since its first Gold Medal for "Exceptional" was awarded to Amber Ale at the World Beer Championships is has continued to receive this prestigious award over and over again; the Gold Medal count, at this competition alone, is now into double digits! Not that anyone's keeping track of the Amber-Ale-Awesomeness, or anything!
Actually we are keeping track of this amazing microbrew. We love Full Sail's Amber Ale, and we know you will too once you try it. We have 6-packs of this brew chilling for you right now in our online beer shop and they are ready to ship out to your empty beer glasses today!
