This amazing beer is liquid gold, vibrant and clear. With almost no haze at all this American Imperial IPA is a gorgeous looking beer! Pour Double Jack and watch a stable, large and fluffy head form, leaving some great lacing behind. A bit of orange hops, tropical fruits, and then toffee and caramel malts scent this beer beautifully!
Firestone Walker Brewing Double Jack Imperial IPA is huge on citrus (tangerine, mango and grapefruit) and features a lot of malt that takes the edge off of the high alcohol burn and the hop bitterness. But beware, the alcohol-kick is not gone, just disguised; with the 9.5% ABV it's still got some warming booze in there too! And as with any aggressive Imperial IPA, Firestone Walker Double Jack IPA is best enjoyed slowly; don't toss them back too fast or you'll wind up on your butt!
