This is the flagship beer from Rubicon Brewing in Sacramento and is a local favorite of the staff here at Beer on the Wall. The brewers start with a crisp pale malt from England for it's full flavor. Then they add generous portions of Chinook and Columbus hops to create an ale golden in color with an assertive hop bitterness.
To finish, Rubicon IPA is then dry hopped with Cascade and more Columbus hops resulting in a big aroma with hints of citrus and pine.
This brew is a former Gold Medal winner at The Great American Beer Festival and is a true American Classic. A must try for any fan of west coast style Pale ales and IPA's.
