Stone's 12th Anniversary Ale was inspired by two pilot beers that were previously brewed by Stone Brewing Company. The first of these pilot beers was a delicious Oatmeal Stout and the second an amazing homebrewed Imperial Stout brewed with Oaxacan chocolate added to the boil. Stone immediately knew that the two beers were a hit and had the idea to blend them to create their 12th Anniversary Ale. Awesome idea guys!
